To help keep the Chattanooga Renaissance Faire safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for all guests, please review the following guidelines before attending.
Permitted Items
Guests are welcome to bring:
- Small and medium personal bags, purses, totes, backpacks, and diaper bags
- Bags should generally be no larger than a medium-sized tote bag (approximately 14″ x 12″ x 6″).
- Empty reusable water bottles or factory-sealed single-use water bottles
- Umbrellas for shade or weather
- Personal mobility devices and medically necessary items
- Family-friendly costumes and cosplay attire
- Small picnic blankets or folding chairs for lawn seating areas
Prohibited Items
The following items are not permitted inside the Faire grounds:
- Outside alcohol
- Illegal substances
- Glass containers
- Coolers
- Fireworks, explosives, lasers, or open flames
- Drones or remote-controlled aircraft
- Portable speakers or amplified sound devices
- Pets or animals, except trained service animals
- Unapproved merchandise sales, solicitation, or flyering
Weapons & Props
All weapons and prop weapons are subject to the Faire’s separate Weapons Policy and may require inspection and peace-tying before entry.
Photography & Filming
Casual personal photography and video are welcome throughout the Faire.
Professional photography equipment, including cameras with detachable/interchangeable lenses, lighting equipment, backdrops, tripods, or commercial filming setups, is not permitted without prior approval from Faire organizers.
Only official Chattanooga Renaissance Faire photographers, media personnel, and approved vendors displaying authorized event credentials/badges may bring professional photography equipment onto Faire grounds or offer photography services.
Unauthorized commercial photography, paid photo sessions, solicitation, or disruptive filming activity is prohibited and may result in removal from the event.
Service Animals
Only trained service animals assisting a person with a disability are permitted. Emotional support animals and pets are not allowed.
Bag Checks & Guest Conduct
All bags are subject to inspection upon entry. Guests engaging in unsafe, disruptive, harassing, or aggressive behavior may be denied entry or removed from the event at the discretion of Faire staff and security.
